On Friday, October 11th, 2019, Lindop School District 92 hosted it's first ever Men of Distinction Session from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the gymnasium. All significant male figures were invited to school that day to engage in a session with Inner Vision's CEO and Motivational Speaker Dwayne Bryant. Mr. Bryant has provided the district with several Parent Universities in the past to engage parents around the topics from the impact of social media to community-police relationships. This session was targeted towards gang awareness and social media impact on students. Also, this allowed males to collaborate and communicate with one another. This session is part of Lindop School's Stragetic Plan: Family and Community Engagement: Seek out opportunities to engage families, community agencies and networks. Develop and effectively communicate learning focused family and community partnerships that address community/family challenges which impact student development, growth and achievement both socially and academically.
